New Apple Mac
The department has purchased 12 Mac machines which will be installed in the laboratory 904 in early November. In the past, we have many non-Windows platform machines, such as NeXT, Sun Solaris and SGI. Due to the domainance of Windows platform, many of them have been phased out. With these Mac machines, students not only can have a touch on the the latest technology, but also the opportunity to be exposed to other architectures and OS.
